Terms & Conditions

    1. THE WEDDING EXHIBITION shall mean one of the wedding exhibitions organised by CELEBRATED AFFAIRS.  “Exhibitor” shall mean any person or company applying for or being sold space, verbally or in written form, at the agreed wedding exhibition.  “Advertisers” shall mean any person or company applying for or being sold advertising space at the agreed wedding exhibition /website.  “Organisers” shall mean CELEBRATED AFFAIRS and their employees/independent co-ordinators.
    2. ADMINISTRATION AND ALLOCATION.   Exhibitors may start arranging their space from 9.00am unless prior arrangements are confirmed with the Organisers.  All spaces must be fully arranged 30 minutes before the wedding exhibition is due to start.  The organisers reserve the right to re-plan or allot space as required.  The Organisers reserve the right to refuse Exhibitors entry to the wedding exhibition if the set up time is not adhered to.  Set up by an Exhibitor will not be permitted after the wedding exhibition has opened to the public, unless agreed with the Organisers.  In such case the Organisers do not accept any consequential loss of the Exhibitor.  Organisers reserve the right to sell advertising space/website space as agreed in the prospectus/literature/website.
    3. EXHIBITION HOURS - Sunday 11.00am - 4.00pm, subject to change.
    4. ADMISSION AND CLOSEDOWN.  The wedding exhibition is open to the public; no admission charge will be made.  Exhibitors must not remove any exhibits before 4.00pm on the Sunday.  All exhibitors must be removed by 5.00pm.
    5. REFRESHMENTS.  Buffet refreshments are allocated to a maximum of three persons/space.  Refreshments are provided at a central point for consumption.  Buffet lunch will be made available between 12.00pm-2.30pm.  Additional /optional refreshments MUST be discussed with the Organisers, prior to the exhibition, charged at £5.00 per person.
    6. INSURANCE.  The Organisers will not be responsible for the safety of any exhibit or property of the Exhibitor, it’s staff, or the loss of, damage, theft, personal injury or other cause whatsoever sustained by an Exhibitor.  The Exhibitor shall take good care of and not allow or cause any damage to the exhibition venue and is to ensure that no screws, nails, adhesives or other fastenings are used on the building, furniture or decoration and shall be responsible for the cost of any damage.  The Exhibitors should obtain their own insurance cover. The Exhibitor is required to take out third party liability insurance for a minimum of £1,000,000 with a reputable insurance company and produce a copy of the policy to the Organiser, if requested.   The Organisers do not accept any consequential loss resulting from cancellation, change of date, attendance or non-attendance in any circumstances whatsoever, whether negligent or not.
    7. PAYMENTS AND INVOICING.  All applications are complete on receiving an exhibition/advertising/web booking reference number from the Organisers.  Booking forms should be returned to the Organisers with full payment.  All payments are non refundable. Spaces/Advertising are allocated by the organiser, it is therefore important that the Exhibitor/Advertiser forward the remittance to the Organisers on confirming the exhibition/advertising reference number.  A space booking is a firm commitment on the part of the Exhibitor/Advertiser to participate in the exhibition/advertising. The Organisers reserve the right to invoice the Exhibitor/Advertiser a final invoice on confirmation of an Exhibitors/Advertisers exhibition/advertising reference number whether verbal or written.  The Organisers reserve the right to refuse acceptance of any booking or advertising.
    8. INVOICING AND CANCELLATIONS.  An invoice for the agreed exhibition/advertising space (s) will be invoiced to the Exhibitor/Advertiser, if the payment is not received with 14 days the space may be cancelled.  Discounts will be forfeited, if payment for space/advertising is not made when due and the Organisers may cancel the space/advert booked.  The Organisers may also require the Exhibitor/Advertiser to be responsible for the balance of the space/advert fee(s).  Cancellation by an Exhibitor/Advertiser, of a space/advert, should be confirmed in email (writing by registered pos) to the Organisers.  An administration charge of £30.00 will be chargeable to the Exhibitor/Advertiser on cancellation.  Cancellation by an Exhibitor/Advertiser must be made within 14 days of booking. In the event of an Exhibitors/Advertisers space/advert being cancelled all monies on the agreed exhibition/advert shall be forfeited without prejudice to the right of the Organisers to claim for breach of contract.  A £10.00 fee will be charged for each reminder sent, plus interest at 7% per month from the date of invoice.
    9. EXHIBITORS/ADVERTISERS CONDUCT.  All Exhibitors/Advertisers and staff must carry on business and conduct in a manner as shall not be objectionable to any other Exhibitor/Advertisers, visitor or management of the venue.  Exhibitors/Advertisers should not discuss any exhibition/advertising details with any other Exhibitor/Advertiser or management of the venue.  All complaints should be directed at the Organisers.
    10. EXHIBITION SPACE.  Exhibition spaces will be allocated by the Organisers.  The Exhibitors are responsible for ascertaining at the time of booking if a duplication of category applies. Exhibition space will not exceed 24ft width, unless agreed with the Organisers. The Exhibitor may not assign or sublet any part of the space allocated or grant licences in respect thereof.  Exhibits, advertisements or printed matter from other Companies who are not bona fide Exhibitors, participating at that exhibition, must not be distributed within the exhibitions or car parks.  Literature advertising other wedding exhibitions/shows must not be exhibited or distributed within the exhibition or car park.  Only those products or services agreed with the Organisers may be displayed.  Nothing should be attached to the walls without prior consent.
    11. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT.  Use of electrical equipment to be provided by Exhibitors on the day must be noted on the booking form, such equipment can only be used in accordance with fire and safety procedures.  The Organisers reserve the right to refuse any request.
    12. CANCELLATION OF AGREEMENT.  In the event of the Exhibitor/Advertiser breaking any of the above terms and conditions the Organisers reserve the right to cancel the agreement between the Exhibitor/Advertiser and the Organiser without liability against the Organiser.  The Organiser reserves the right to remove the Exhibitor/Advertiser from the exhibition/advertising if any of the above terms are broken.
    13. REFUSAL OF ENTRY.  The Organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any member of the public or persons.
